Health Coaching

In 2014, after coaching clients in our AdvoCare business and experiencing challenges in my own wellness journey, I decided to pursue education as a health coach. I personally have benefited from the services of a fitness trainer, nutritionist, exercise physiologist and a therapist and what I learned in that intensive (and often expensive) experience is that until you face the things that are hurting you on the inside, it is difficult to change what’s on the outside.  Many people live in poor physical health because of emotional traumas they have experienced in their lifetimes and as a health coach, I wanted to offer support as well as knowledge to those who are trying to overcome the obstacles to wellness.

There are several certification programs out there, but after doing my research and deciding on a purpose (to help parents with young children and aging adults), I chose the L.E.A.N. coach certification program at the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute.  On June 23, 2014, I became a Certified L.E.A.N. Health coach and have been certified in two other areas of coaching for expecting moms and adults over 40 (who we call Prime Timers).  In addition to individual coaching services, I am now trained to offer courses developed by the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute that are full of information that is simple to understand, science based, and provide the foundation for a lifetime of wellness.

For more information about my coaching services, I encourage you to visit my business website, LEAN Ohana, LLC at http://www.leanohana.com in October 2014.
